A clinical thermometer measures body temperature. Ointment is used for treating minor cuts and burns. Petroleum jelly helps to prevent and treat chapped skin and lips.
Antiseptic is used to clean wounds and prevent infection. Adhesive dressings cover small cuts and abrasions. Surgical blades are used for minor surgical procedures. Scissors cut bandages, tape, or clothing. Tweezers are used to remove splinters or foreign objects from the skin. Pain killers provide relief from pain.
Gauze is used to dress wounds and control bleeding. Safety pins secure bandages and slings. A sling supports and immobilizes injured arms. A notepad and pen are used to record medical information or instructions. Water is used for drinking, cleaning wounds, and other purposes.
These items help ensure that basic medical care can be provided quickly and effectively in case of an emergency.
